Effective Communication

Effective communication is the heartbeat of a company; it is what drives it forward despite continuing challenges. How? By building solid and long-term relationships with key stakeholders. It unfortunately took the massive 2008 financial crisis for multinationals to realize the importance of communication, and most specifically, investor relations. For communication strategies to reach the desired outcomes – objectives, strategies and tactics should always be implemented with a unifying purpose.

Believe it or not, in 2019, many companies and individuals at top levels, still misunderstand the importance of effective corporate communication. Why? Because they believe that is just about exchanging information sporadically, to selective audiences. However, this like throwing a ball in an empty goal. Communication will always be doomed to fail if it lacks clear vision and leadership; and even the best of intentions will not work their magic.

Hats off to all communicators – your job is not as easy as it seems. After all, not all heroes wear capes!
